Today was Arianna's last day of Kindergarten! I have mixed feelings about this. I can remember bringing Arianna home from the hospital and saying, "What am I suppose to do with an infant?" What am I going to do with a 1st grader? I asked Arianna what she was most excited about going into first greade..."Eating lunch at school!" This leaves me with the question, "Who am I going to eat lunch with now?"
Today was also...Donuts With Dad Day!! Do you just love the pin on tie Arianna made for Pat? She was most excited to talk about the color pattern of the tie. These 2 make a GREAT team!
I figured I would put this picture in because the little boy standing next to Arianna is the boy Arianna is "going" to marry!

Wow, what a big girl! You guys will love first grade (thats what I used to teach) You'll see them make the biggest change from the beginning to the end of the year. I hope we'll get to see you more now that its summer.
So, I just looked closer at that picture of Arianna's teacher is her name Scymczak?? If it is, I used to teach with her!

How fun! I get bitter sweet, mixed feelings with Bryn growing up. I know that you will stay busy and you will find lunch buddies. How exciting for Ari to be in first grade! Holey Moley! Love the tie!
Well, I've got news for you...I am teaching first grade (again) in the fall, so Ari and I will be in the same grade! How fun is that!

First grade it great. Jonah had his first (and only) girlfriend in first grade. I thought if I ignored it, it would go away. She was his girlfriend the WHOLE year. Now just a memory, but weird!
What a perfect tie!! Ari is so beautiful.... you are going to have keep her clear from all the boys. This is only the beginning!
