Focus on PARENTING...
This goal has many small goals to accomplish...and one BIG GOAL...
The big goal is to POTTY TRAIN ALAYNA! Wish me luck!
The small goals include:
read the Friend to my children daily
play with them more
BE POSITIVE with them
laugh
educate them more often (at random & planned lessons)
just spend quality time with them
read 1 new parenting book (suggestions are welcomed)

I hate the title, but I liked the book The Kazdin Method for Parenting the Defiant Child by Alan E. Kazdin. I don't have trouble parenting my children when they are being pleasant, it is when they get defiant that they give me a run for my money. So even though I don't consider my children defiant overall, I liked this book for help in those moments when they are testing the limits!
(I checked it out from the library.)
"The tough kid parenting book" published by Sopris West. I used this as the textbook for the patenting class I taught at work. Really great stuff, even for good kids in tough situations.
Good Goals! If I can do all that I might be a great parent!
